The Camel City Dispatch is proud to welcome Ms. Caroline Wall as our very first intern.  Ms. Wall is currently a creative writing/communications student at Salem Academy & College.  Caroline is working through Dr. Carol Dykers, her communications adviser.   She is a 2009 graduate of West Stokes High School and is very excited about her work with us over the next month.

“This is my first internship and I am really excited to work with an independent, forward looking media outlet.”  Caroline will be covering some local government meetings, community events, and will be assisting with the daily production of content.  Her work will show up online and in your news feeds.

Caroline’s plans beyond her education include spending two years teaching school through the Teach For America program and would like to one day continue a career in journalism and hopefully become a published author.
