Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership has announced their inaugural Restaurant Week 2015 will start on Sunday February 15 and end on Saturday February 21. Restaurant Week 2015 will feature a prix fixe menu for $20 and/or $30 from around 20 downtown restaurants. “Downtown dining offers something for everyone” said Jason Thiel, President, DWSP, “and there is no better way to experience all the variety downtown dining has to offer.”
“Restaurant week is a way to showcase downtown Winston-Salem and how the food scene here is up-and-coming. For chefs, the opportunity to create something unique using fresh and local products is a challenge and a way to highlight their abilities and the resources for restaurants that exist right here in town,” according to Will Kingery, owner of King’s Crab Shack and Willow’s Bistro.
Greg Richardson, owner at Hutch and Harris, stated, “We are very excited to be part of this. The Big Eat has been very successful and this looks to be another exciting chance to bring folks downtown.”
Participating restaurants include:
6th & Vine, Augustine’s Bistro, Bayberry Bistro, Bernardin’s, Bib’s Downtown, Black Mountain Chocolate, Camino Bakery, Di Lisio’s Italian Restaurant, District Rooftop Bar & Grille, Downtown Thai & sushi, Foothill’s Brewing, Graze, Hutch & Harris, Jeffrey Adams on fourth, Kabobs on Fourth, King’s Crab Shack & Oyster Bar, Mellow Mushroom, Meridian, Mooney’s Mediterranean Cafe’, Mozelle’s, Mission Pizza, Old Fourth Street Filling Station, Spring House Restaurant, Kitchen & Bar, Twin City Hive, Wen Hwa Asion Fusion Cuisine, West End Coffee House, and Willow’s Bistro.
