Two men shot multiple times

On November 16th at 2:42 am, Officers with the WSPD responded to Carver School Road and Lansing Drive on a call regarding a shooting. Upon arrival they located Confucious Ledbell Patterson in a vehicle. Mr. Patterson had multiple gunshot wounds. He is listed as 28 years old.

At the same time, Ricardo Kentrell Coles arrived at Baptist Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. He is listed as 36 years old.

The initial investigation revealed the shooting took place at 4364 Old Walkertown Road, which is the listed address for a hair salon near Pulliams Barbecue and the Ogburn Station Shopping Center. The investigation is in its early stages and it appears to be an isolated incident.

Neither victim’s address could be confirmed in the initial stages of the investigation. No further information is currently publicly available.

 

Man found profoundly beaten in Downtown parking lot

Just after 4am on November 15th, a man now identified as Vincent “Vinnie” Mannino, 39 years old, was found face down in the parking lot at 770 Liberty View Court. The location, just off of Trade Street between 7th and MLK, is the parking lot for Mary’s Gourmet Diner and the Famous Toastery.

While little has been released in this crime, the police have stated that Mr. Mannino has facial and head injuries. He is currently at Baptist Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
