On rainy weekdays in April, Reynolda House Museum of American Art will offer one free adult admission for each paid adult admission. To receive the free admission, visitors simply need to say “rainy days are good museum days” to the museum’s front desk team and provide their email address.
Adult admission to Reynolda House is $14 and includes the popular spring exhibition “George Catlin’s American Buffalo.” Admission is free for students, members of the museum, and Wake Forest University employees.
Museum staff will monitor weather forecasts from local media and offer the promotion weekdays with a 50% chance or higher of rain. The museum will announce the rainy day promotion by 9:30 am Tuesday through Friday through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
“We always say that rainy days are good museum days,” says Sarah Smith, director of external relations at the museum. “We wanted to offer something special for our local visitors to look forward to on rainy spring days.”
