Twin City Stage to Present The Outsiders

Twin City Stage will present The Outsiders on Saturday, March 5.

Teen rivalry in a small Southern town sets the stage for this dramatic interpretation by Christopher Sergel of the novel by S. E. Hinton. Seen through the eyes of young Ponyboy, a Greaser on the wrong side of life, The Outsiders tells the story of the ongoing conflict between the underprivileged Greasers and the rich kid Socs in rural Oklahoma. When a territorial battle goes wrong, Ponyboy and his friends have to grow up quickly, holding on to their hope and their friends.

Jessica Grant will direct the production. Justin Hall will design costumes. Kevin Hampton will stage manage, assisted by Charity Hampton. The full cast of some of Winston-Salem’s talented young performers includes:

Perfromance is on March 5th at 7 pm at the Arts Council Theatre, 610 Coliseum Drive in Winston-Salem. Tickets are $15, and group discounts are available. Tickets can be purchased online HERE or at the box office window, one hour prior to the performance.
