By Staff

According to a release the good folks at Love Out Loud WS have teamed up with Agape Faith Church for their annual “Operation Thanksgiving Blessing Outreach.”

military families

This year, Agape Faith Church will be honoring the men and women of the armed forces that have served and protected this country, giving of themselves unselfishly, by offering this blessing. The blessing will consist of a 10-12 pound turkey, stuffing mix, green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, instant potatoes, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and a pumpkin pie.

These individuals consist of Active Duty service members, the families of recently deployed units, and the 100 veterans who took part in the “We Were There Tours.” Operation Thanksgiving Blessing will take place on Saturday, November 10th from 9am – 1pm. The event will be held at the National Guard Armory here in Winston-Salem. The Armory is located at 2000 Silas Creek Parkway, across from the DMV, next to Forsyth Technical Community College.
